Vietnamese Iced Coffee

When the dalgona coffee trend became big, I started to think of the recipe I use to make that was very similar. After searching through all of my saved recipes, I finally found where I had written this one down. It is similar to the dalgona coffee since you use instant coffee but in my opinion much easier to make.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp instant coffee
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk
  • 1 cup ice
  • Optional: milk

Instructions

1

You'll need to froth this so if you have a handheld frother then great, otherwise use a blender or you can even put it in a jar and shake well.

2

Add the instant coffee and water together and froth (however you need to do this. I used a small handheld blender that I make smoothies in). Froth for about 15 seconds.

3

Add condensed milk and froth again for about 15 seconds.

4

Put ice in a glass cup and slowly pour coffee over.

Notes

This has a strong coffee flavor. Mixing in some milk will make it not as strong.
