This casserole is perfect for a busy weeknight meal. Easy to make and the whole family will love it! My kiddos just gobble this up and even ask for seconds.
Tater Tot Casserole
An easy weeknight casserole
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (16 oz) package frozen tater tots
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt & pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Brown the ground beef and season with salt and pepper to your taste.
Add condensed soup to the cooked ground beef and mix well.
In a casserole dish, pour ground beef mixture. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese.
Top meat/cheese with frozen tater tots.
Bake, uncovered, for 35-40 minutes until tater tots are golden brown. Remove from oven and sprinkle top with remaining shredded cheese.
Bake an additional 5-10 minutes. All you are doing here is allowing the cheese to melt.
Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
