This is a copycat of Costco’s hot turkey and provolone sandwich. When Costco first introduced this sandwich, we tried it and have been hooked ever since. Costco stopped serving it due to Covid-19 so I did some digging and figured out how to make it myself.
Hot Turkey & Provolone Sandwich
Just like the one you can buy at the Costco food court
Ingredients
- 4 ciabatta rolls, sliced in half
- 16 slices of natural turkey breast
- 8 slices of provolone cheese
- 8 tbsp mayo
- 8 tbsp basil pesto
- 4 slices tomato
- Red onion (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Lay all 8 slices of ciabatta rolls cut side up on a baking sheet.
Spread 1 tbsp of mayo onto each roll. Spread 1 tbsp of pesto onto each roll.
Next, place a piece of provolone onto each roll.
Place 4 slices of turkey onto 4 rolls and then 4 slices of tomato onto the other 4 rolls. Add red onion with the tomato if using.
Leave the sandwiches open and bake for 10 minutes. When done, place each tomato roll with a turkey roll and enjoy.
