It seemed like it was always happening to me when I needed taco/fajita seasoning so I decided to figure out how to make it myself. Here is a recipe for a homemade version using ingredients you most likely already have in your pantry.

Homemade Taco Seasoning
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp ground cumin
- 4 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 tsp salt
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients. Put in a sealed container.
2 tbsp seasoning and 1/4 cup water replaces 1 packaged seasoning
