Easy Crock Pot Honey Ham

This recipe originally called for molasses instead of honey but I just love the way the honey blends with the pineapple juice. Turns out super juicy with great flavor. And the bonus is it frees up your oven to be able to cook all the other yummy dishes.

An easy way to make a delicious ham

Ingredients

  • 1 (7-8 lb) spiral ham (I accidentally used a regular ham and it still came out good)
  • 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey (You can also use molasses)

Instructions

1

Remove all packaging, bone cover and flavor packets from ham.

2

Place ham, flat side down, in crock pot. Pour pineapple juice over ham.

3

Rub brown sugar on ham and then pour honey over top.

4

Cook on low for 4-5 hours, basting a couple of times.

Notes

You can also slice the ham up and put it in the crock pot with the sweet mixture to keep warm. I usually just drain a little of the juice so there isn't so much in there before I add the ham back in.
