Dalgona coffee goes by many names. Frothy coffee, whipped coffee and cloud coffee to name a few. Basically it’s 3 ingredients whisked together to form a delicious coffee topping. I was very surprised by not only how easy this was to make but how fancy it tasted. This might just replace my afternoon Starbucks run.
a thick, rich and delicious coffee flavored topping
- 2 tbsp instant coffee
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp hot water
Whisk the instant coffee, sugar and hot water until soft peaks begin to form. Takes anywhere between 3-6 minutes depending on how vigorous you whisk.
Fill a cup with desired amount of milk. I did about 10 oz. Add whipped coffee and stir. I like to add ice to mine. Enjoy!
